Privacy-first disclosure: we're an early-stage AI-Native lab building Folderless to help declutter your digital life — guided by our LESS is MORE principle.
This page is how we actually treat your data today. We'll update it ahead of any material change, and email subscribers in advance.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist or sign in:
- Email address (so we can email you)
- Anonymous request context — hashed IP, browser user-agent, and country code, used only for anti-spam and abuse prevention
When you use Folderless (Desktop App):
- Anonymous service telemetry — device identifier, app version, and sign-in events, used to keep Folderless working and identify bugs
We do NOT collect:
- Your documents, file contents, or anything from your local vault
- Your browsing history outside Folderless
- Behavioral profiles for advertising
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data. Period.
- We do not share your data with third parties for marketing.
- We do not run behavioral ad tracking, retargeting pixels, or third-party analytics that follow you around the web.
Where we store
- Waitlist email + sign-in: Supabase (US data center)
- Anti-spam telemetry: Cloudflare Workers + Supabase
- Your Folderless documents: ON YOUR OWN DEVICE.
Folderless is privacy-first and local-first by design — the core promise of the AI-Native service, not a toggle you flip, sneaky fineprint, or buried in a 50-page legal contract.
Privacy by Physics, not just policy.
Your documents never leave your machine without your explicit permission.
How long
- Waitlist email — until you ask us to delete it
- Anti-spam telemetry — 90 days, then auto-purged
- Desktop App telemetry — 180 days, then auto-purged
Your control
- To unsubscribe or delete your data: email support@actionlabs.tech. We act within 7 days and confirm by reply. "Unsubscribe" keeps your record (so you don't get re-added by mistake later); say "delete" if you want it gone entirely.
- You can also reply "unsubscribe" to any email from us — we'll route it to support and stop emailing you.

Changes to this policy
We'll post material changes here with a new "Last updated" date. Email subscribers get a heads-up before any change that affects what we collect, how we store, or how long we keep it.
